Application Process

  • Interested applicants can apply online at Indeed or by emailing a resume to telltomnow@callspall.com. Applicants can also apply in person at our office.

  • The process can take anywhere from 1-3 weeks. The first stage is the initial interview, followed by a second interview that may include testing your HVAC and/or Plumbing knowledge. The final stage before being hired includes receiving a job offer and completing a physical, drug test, and background check .

  • Since T E Spall often deals with urgent customer needs and seasonal fluctuations, you might be asked about your availability for overtime, weekend work, or flexible hours. You may meet with a hiring manager or supervisor who will dive deeper into the technical aspects of the job, as well as the company's expectations and how your role will contribute to the team. If the interview goes well, you'll typically hear about the next steps, which could include a second interview or a job offer. We will discuss any additional paperwork, benefits, or start dates at this point.

  • Initially, there may be a phone call or video interview with HR or a recruiter. We’ll discuss your resume, work experience, and basic qualifications. Expect general questions about your interest in the company, why you're looking for a new role, and your overall experience in the HVAC field. Since HVAC work requires specific skills, you might have to demonstrate your technical knowledge. This could involve a skills test or practical exercise where you're asked to solve problems related to HVAC systems. You may be asked about different HVAC systems, troubleshooting methods, or even codes and safety protocols. All applicants must complete a background check, physical, and drug test.
